New supplier: Ridet Technology, a manufacturer of next-generation digital microscopy workstations

We are pleased to introduce our new partner, Ridet Technology, an innovative developer of advanced digital imaging platforms. Ridet's equipment provides high throughput, strict data reproducibility, and integrated automation to everyday laboratory environments.

By completely replacing traditional eyepiece optical paths with high-definition digital monitors and touchscreens, their systems improve cabinet biosafety, simplify data recording, and enable seamless multi-user collaboration.

Ridet's portfolio features three distinct digital microscope models tailored to fit varying spatial constraints, throughput requirements, and budgets:

  • Flea-n Cell Imaging System: An ultra-compact, 13.7 kg benchtop microscope designed to operate entirely inside sterile biosafety cabinets. It features a 10.1-inch integrated touchscreen, an electrically driven 5-position objective turret, and a motorized Z-axis with fast autofocus. Built for rapid routine monitoring, it utilizes a standardized, deep-learning algorithm to deliver an objective cell confluency percentage in one second.
  • ZERO Series Fluorescence Platform: An all-in-one, eyepiece-free routine research imaging platform engineered to eliminate equipment queuing and user strain. Equipped with an integrated 15.6-inch tiltable 4K LCD screen and a specialized dual-camera sensor array (separate scientific-grade monochrome and color CMOS cameras), it allows multiple researchers to analyze real-time multi-channel fluorescence overlays simultaneously.
  • X-Ultra Fully Automated System: A premium, high-throughput automation platform built for large-scale experiments and multi-well plate scanning. It deploys a fully motorized dual-plate stage with 1 µm precision that doubles standard plate capacity, tracks live-cell kinetic timelines via an external incubator, and handles up to 200 layers of Z-stack focus fusion for crystal-clear 3D structural reconstruction.

By bundling powerful computer-vision analysis software, instant-on LED light cubes, and automated stage calibrations directly into the terminal hardware, Ridet eliminates the hidden licensing costs and external camera attachment overhead that typically complicate high-end research platforms.

The combination of enclosed eyepiece-free cabinet workflows, high-clarity 4K data visualization, and the automated dual-plate design provides a compelling framework for laboratories looking to optimize their validation testing and imaging throughput.
